Well kind of. I at least started inventorying the wing kit. I'm starting to get jazzed looking at all that airplane stuff again.

Was a good day. It started out at the airport watching a friend fly his RV-8 for the first time today. Then my other friend and his RV-6A and I flew down to Los Banos (KLSN) for breakfast. THEN I did the wing kit inventory. This really is a great lifestyle.

Sounds like a GREAT day Scott! Much better than mine...started this morning on the beach down in the islands...now I'm in my living room after a day's worth of airline travel. :( Good to be home, and I'm looking forward to getting back to my fuselage though!! 8)

Have fun with the ribs!! :)

That's right! How was that? Be sure to post some photos. I posted a thread in the flight stories section with a link to my online album. I want to see your pics too!

I know how you feel. We had that same travel day last Sunday. Didn't land until 11:30pm local time and then I forgot where I parked! Fun day.

Glad you're home safe.

It was great! Don't want to hijack this thread, so I'll post some pics in the other thread later today...

Okay, back to topic. I've been inventorying the wing kit this whole weekend. I'm amazed at the amount of work Van's has done for us. Access holes cut, lightening holes drilled, ribs pre-drilled. It's amazing. Speaking as someone who built back in the "drill you own holes" days, I'm really liking this kit!
