a minor milestone

Post by RV9inIowa »

My lovely and talented wife helped me finish the bottom rivets on the aft fuselage, so it is now completely done! :) :) :)

I also got the pitch servo mount, bellcrank, servo pushrod, elt bracket, and strobe brackets installed, as well as rudder cable exit fairings.
Now on to the center section... can't wait! Love this homebuilding thing. It's really great when your wife helps, especially when her riveting is better than mine

Have fun all!

That looks fantastic Dave! That is really nice that you and your wife are able to work on it together!

Homebuilding is a lot of fun, isn't it!

Nice going Dave. I hope your wife will help in the future too, I'm sure there are lots of places where an extra pair of hands will help on some of those skins to come.

Dave, looks like your moving right along. Sometime when I'm in CR I'll try to stop by and see your project. Before you know it you'll have the fuselage together.
