I now have a registered airplane! Not complete...but registered!!

I have to second a recommendation given to me by Rob Johnson...Chris Sanford at Aero-Space Reports in Oklahoma City is THE MAN to get this done! They walk the papers across the street to the FAA, and there's no wait to get it done. I sent the paperwork in last Tuesday, and a week and a day later, I have a registered airplane. Chris makes sure everything is correct before taking it over for filing so no mistakes are made that would delay the process. I do this sort of thing for others when we buy or sell an airplane, but when it comes to registering a NEW airplane, I hand it over to the pro's.

Check 'em out if your ready to register...

Congrats Chad! That's one less thing to worry about. Not too many syllables in that registration either, and charlie bravo makes sense.

Cost?

Chad,

Do you mind sharing what the cost was to use their service?

I paid $80, but I've been working with Chris for a long time, and I think their prices have gone up a bit. Not much, but I think they are a little higher now.

Chad, I looked at Chris' service but I chose to do it the old fashioned way with no ill effect.

My registration was processed just like everyone else's in the country. With the EAA packet it is hard to screw up.

I am glad it worked out so well for you!

If I had to do it again, the $18 I paid for the EAA packet was money well spent and would spend it again.

My two...

Yeah, but using a title company to do it for ya makes certain there is nothing to kick it back...I have the EAA packet too and still decided to go this route. I guess part of it has to do with the fact that I work with these title companies frequently at work, and I know how efficient they are.

To each his own...

Ditto on using the EAA packet. No problems and I too have a registered aircraft. Got the reg in the mail about 2-3 weeks later.

You da man, Chad! Glad it went as smoothly for you as it did for me! Next steps are the program letter, application, and all that other mumbo jumbo -- let me know when you need samples of that stuff.
