I GOT MY PINK SLIP!!!

Post by lancef53 »

The schedules of my DAR and myself finally came together, and I got my airplane signed off tonight!!

The inspection went well, no major finds. He had a couple of tips on better ways to do things, and a couple of simple changes that didn't matter for the inspection, but would be better for me in the long run.

He did have me open up the spacing between the aileron and wingtip, to eliminate any possible clearance issues.

Now I need to get it together and see if it will fly!!

Way to go :!:

I congratulate you on two things. First and foremost, on the successful inspection of you plane (its a plane now, not a project).

Second, on having the balls to have your pink slip dated April 1

Good Luck!

And signed by Trent Teets as well. Is his signature a pictorial representation of his name?

Ha Ha--I hadn't noticed the signature :)

I got it buttoned up, and taxied it out to our strip and taxied up and down the runway a few times. The weather is kinda crappy right now, with a low ceiling. Hopefully tomorrow everything checks out, and the weather is nice. If not, Sunday looks good weather-wise.

Thanks for all the replies!! It is getting exciting!!
