Is it wrong that I don't want to go to OSH?

Post by captain_john »

I tell you what, I have been on a roll lately and I just want to stay here and work on the plane!!!

Last night Billy came down and helped me line up all the control surfaces and do some epoxy and today I riveted in all the platenuts. I could probably take the wings off if I had assistance.

I would THEN feel like I got enough done and reward myself with a trip to OSH.

Oh well, you get done what you can get done...

Looks like I need to pack now. I will be getting up early tomorrow morning!

See all you plane-aholics out there!

Ellen and I are westbound on I-90 between Syracuse and Buffalo. We're gonna be up before the sun tomorrow so we can sneak around Chicago before rush hour. :o

I didn't get quite as far on the project as I wanted to before we left. But I only have one thing left to do before pulling the canoe apart for prep and riveting, and that's not enough to keep me from Oshkosh...we're ready for a vacation, I have airplane stuff to buy, and we have the Otter to visit!
