It's been a while, but it is starting to look more like a plane. Here are a few pics from the past few weeks:

Lookin' really good there, Dave! I just went through all these steps a while back for my 7A. You've got your panel in, though. I'm just getting started on all of that. I like how you can get the wings on inside your shop! I can't do that, even with the shorter 7's wings.

Hey Dave!

Glad to see that you are still at it! Things are looking sweet!

You need an engine now brother!

What is the plan there?

You were working on the panel when I was there in 2008! Can you believe it has been THAT LONG since I visited!!??!!

We are both marathon builders! Looks great, btw!

Say, how often do you see John Roberts?

Too bad he stopped building. Good guy!

Hi CJ - yeah, its sad its been that long. Stupid economy :(

I bought an engine that was torn apart and partially rebuilt. The case, crank, cam, and all the internal parts were sent out for overhaul and yellow tagged. All I need is bearings, gaskets, some hardware, and cylinders!

I haven't talked to John Roberts in a long while. He is a great guy.

I brought the wingtips home from the hangar, so I'll get those attached by next week. Then the garage gets reorganized and I can put both cars back in for the winter.

Wowsers, that is seriously sweet. Kind of nice to see as your panel is pretty darned close to what I was going to do. Good taste! When you get it done you must let me fly in it.

Suweeet
