In the past year, entries for an additional 87 airfields have been added to the "Abandoned & Little-Known Airfields" website at www.airfieldsfreeman.com. This brings the site's coverage to a total of 2,641 airfields, across all 50 states.

Recent entries include new additions describing former airfields such as Sparta Municipal Airport WI, Midland Airport AZ, Twitchell Airport ME, Black Forest Inn Airfield PA, Mt. I have always looked at that field as a possible emergency landing site close to my home airport, HAO, Hamilton, OH. I didn't know it was once an airport. thanks for the heads up.

The "Abandoned & Little-Known Airfields" website at https://www.airfieldsfreeman.com has hit a big milestone: a total of THREE MILLION VISITS since 2002! The website will also celebrate its 25th anniversary next month. Thanks for all the historical material which has expanded the site to its present scope!

In the past year, entries for an additional 63 airfields have been added, bringing the site's coverage to a total of 2,751 airfields, across all 50 states.
