some ABS RV10 window bonding jigs.... dimensions are in inches. I am not the original designer for this jig but made some at the request of other RV10 builders. it nice to be able to offer simple tools to get the job done properly.

RV14 canopy radius sanding block.... these turn out nicely. when you are done, resell the tool. it would be a shame to only use it on one aircraft. put it on rivetbangers for tool resell. heck, I may buy it back and resell it as used.

a couple songs I play as I am queuing the runway for takeoff after the runup.... I recommend not to listen to music while you fly if you are new to the aircraft.

rudder cable fairing lube and roll bar hand grip working well.... climbing out. rock on with some good music.

the last time I checked there was NO wear at the rudder actuator hole. an internal track directs the lubricant to the bolt. installed for about 5 years.

20 deg angled spark plug lead seals.... 8.5mm. 300F capable parts.

N number panel cover. printed on the vertical orientation vs horizontal won the customer eye test. I shipped both and was curious which he would prefer.

RV-10 elevator horns not even side-to-side. the right side is up, so allowance needs to be made to the left side gust lock so they both have top side contact. it was communicated to me that the actual elevators were in alignment, but the horns are not. the adjustment of the gust locks is not a problem. have a nice day!

a reasonable spark plug lead seal max angle seems to be about 30 degrees. I suppose it could be more if you wanted to get crazy.

I think 20 degrees should be a nominal angle for RV for the right-hand side, maybe 30 degrees for the left-hand side because the wires are really tight there. what I am talking about is smooth path wire flow, the finer details.

need a drill jig to put the holes in the right place for these. probably a 10-minute job with a drill jig and perfect alignment.

RV10 throttle quad tension adjuster.

the user misplaced his and unable to get a replacement without purchasing a whole unit.

2 weeks waiting for me to get to it. I'm backed up. a 30-minute job. nylon / carbon fiber.

seems as if an embedded nut socket would be another option, but this is what he wanted.

I decided to go ahead and make one with an embedded nut. who knows? it was only 15 minutes.

Pantheon HS3 3D printer made these and is a real machine tool. forget the others and just get it. no paid advertising, it's just that good.

30-degree baffle wire seals, 10-minute install. perfect fit, these are ready to go. I just hate RVPlasticParts website update work, so I put it off and go ride my bike. I am definitely not a website guy. if you want to kill your hobby business, put me in charge of marketing! several people are pinging me for these and the price, $27 each, get a free drill jig if you buy two. you need a drill jig to install these because the screw holes are a line fit, so you don't want to use the part as a drill jig. the drill jigs are spot on. no rush, they will be on-line for the next 20 years. do it right one time and move on. these are 300F capable. crank up the heat!

a 1.125 inch diameter wood circle drill is not the best tool for aluminum, but it will work. makes the hole slightly oversized.

storage trays have taken a beating over the last few years and are in perfect condition. never a loose item to come out, even with my Winter vertical antics. if you have a 3D printer, make some of these. you'll be happy you did. very light weight and carry a lot.

when flying, I have always been able to reach my hand around to rummage thru the copilot tray to find what I need.

these fuel drain fairings are seeing a lot more activity lately. I struggled with these early on but clawed my way back with a new fuel inert material and a stronger design. still very light weight because I moved the material to where it needed to be and away from where it didn't. seems to be working.

request for RV14 canopy hinge cover with no mounting hole. I suppose some are attempting to glue? if so, use a weak glue or maybe a soft silicone sparingly.

attempting to add some color to the white elevator gust locks. the previous red nylon/fiber glass gust locks had a tendency to stain the paint. so, I decided to use an upgraded nylon/fiber glass in natural color in order to prevent staining. this upgraded nylon is also stronger than the previous. the problem is you want to be able to see it if the plane is painted white. this is RIT stain attempt #1. dropped in the stain bath for just a short time because capillary action was causing it to creep around. anyway, there is some color there, but none on the elevator contact surfaces.

I tried stain because I don't know of any paint that will stick to nylon.

I don't know if I need to dye these. the rope is red, and the rudder gust lock is red. it's a toss-up, but I'm OK with how it turned out.

spark plug wire baffle seal.... 3-wire, 8mm. a lot of wire in a compact space. I had these designed but had not printed them yet. today I printed some for an order. max temp = 300F. crank up the heat.

spark plug wire seals.... I haven't looked at these in a while thru the hot Summer. after a flight today, I pulled the cowl. they seem OK. put them on the hot side, where the pressure is. 10-minute install time. this changes everything. crank up the heat!

trailing edge countersink tool.... just seeing what it could be in plastic. the Cleveland Tool is very nice and probably good for a hundred builds. I copied their design. the carbon fiber tool I made is probably good for ten. the dimensions are correct. I'm not sure if I want to build them this way. if someone wants this tool to try for free, send me a note. otherwise, it will probably hit the trash.
