Life vest concept for the elderly. requires 1 shotgun shell. hinged at the lower edge for the stowed condition. 2 remote hand grip cable operated. one grip raises the mechanism by spring action. the other grip sets the projectile free. both grips have to be engaged to set the projectile free. in the stowed condition, a plastic cover can be in place. when both grips are activated simultaneously, the projectile could be set free within approximately 0.5 seconds.

there could also be an alarm to warn if the mechanism has been activated and the projectile is ready to be set free... for added safety. 3D printing, solving everyday problems, but needs to be a steel pipe for one use only. be nice to grandma and grandad. :)

Garmin 760 GPS Dock for GPSDock1 in process. a big one. some said it couldn't be done. we do it every day while listening to music. a perfect field operating record, as far as I know.

I rarely get any feedback on parts, and I am surprised by that. I don't know if it's good or bad. however, today I had some feedback included in a GPS Dock order from Mexico. made my day! most of my international orders are from Canada and Mexico.

I am crawling out of printing backlog and trying to get to the airport.

Note from Customer
Thanks, this is my second dock, you are doing a great job!!!!

nice to be in the air again after several weeks but now the bugs are here again. fuel vent bug blades are installed to keep the bugs out while both on the ground and in the air. these are the original and have been used for many years. they also seem to allow for more fuel pressure.

GPS Docks with variable mounting hole position. these are custom docks with adjustable outer dimensions, so why not the mounting holes. four positions at .125-inch increments to allow variable positions for the dock to extend out of the panel and ease installation. requires four screws total to mount, either the long side or the short side. get exactly what you want.

see the mounting hole position shift.... from the creator of the "printed GPS Dock", with a perfect operational record.

check your plastic for type, size, quantity, and color. too many times I have ordered plastic filament and it is incorrect. when you receive filament, open each box and inspect. it's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get.

custom size conduit supports. update one number and the model is auto generated. I like auto generated models because it minimizes time for changes. determine the key driving features and design around those. put the driving features in a design table, that way it's like updating a spreadsheet to adjust the numbers. first time to print these for someone. maybe they will catch on. average conduit outer diameter = 7/8 inch for these.

rudder trim wedges. this one happens to be the same size as the one on my aircraft (except mine is angled) and is hollow, very light weight. I have printed these in more different sizes than you could imagine. the smooth side is the outer and the textured side is the inner and is for bonding.

determine the size you need by flying at your normal cruise altitude and the ball centered. during a climb it is normal to use right rudder input and left rudder input during descent, but during cruise you should not need rudder input.
