Flight Aware fails but APRS gets it

Post by A2022 »

quick touch and goes at three local airports. flight aware failed to pick up the route but APRS got it. those amateur ham radio guys are on it! if you wish to log your hour buy signals, then APRS wins. I don't memorize frequencies or traffic pattern altitudes (but I used to), now I pick it up in-flight. you work harder and it is more realistic. I have a lot of close airports and it is a busy area and everyone was out and about today. I actually prefer flying on crappy weather days to keep the fair-weather flyers pinned down.

can't say enough good things about carbon fiber air ride. I don't think about it anymore but afterwards I think WOW my feet feel good! my carpet is 10 yrs old.

some airplane off my right wing, but you can never seem them in the photos.
