went to Europe for a couple weeks, got Covid on the last day. symptoms are exactly as they describe plus I had very sore legs. 10 days to feel better. I have not had any Covid shots. on the bright side, my wife and daughter had the shots, and they only had a sore throat for a day. so, I think the shots do work. this was my third round of Covid. I'm getting good at it. :)

Common
Fever.
Cough.
Tiredness.
Loss of taste or smell.

I was thinking of buying something from China but I am going to go another route.

slowly recovering from Covid 2023, it lingers. an alternate weight loss program, that I do not recommend. it may be a while before I'm flying again unless things improve. one thing I am glad about is the engine dehydrator is operating, keeping the engine dry. peace of mind.

beginning to feel human again after 3 weeks of Covid XBB. I didn't have any Covid shots because I didn't think they worked. my wife and daughter had the shots, and they only had a sore throat for one day. I am going to get the shots because now I think they work. I don't think this Covid is as life threatening as the previous versions because I didn't have any lung issues. it doesn't kill you, but it takes you out for a while. you will have brain fogging, even more than normal. :) ............. where's my frigging bike? I am going to the Keweenaw!

at week 5 I began to have significant postnasal drip, clear stuff running down the back of my throat. nothing from the nose and I can breathe from my nose fine. my sense of taste is returning. COVID is weird. today was the first day to get 1 mile of running in since COVID.

week 6, I believe COVID XBB is over for me. my voice is clearing (not speaking like a toad) and feeling much better. running is picking back up, 2.5 then 3.5, going for 5 miles tomorrow. I think the postnasal drip, clear stuff running down the back of my throat was the ending sign. during that time period, taste sense returned, and I started feeling much better. COVID XBB is weird and lingers, nice to be over it. when you survive this stuff, it really makes you want to go fly and enjoy life. half-marathon is in Sept in Knoxville. one thing about COVID is I don't need to get to running weight, I'm already there. before COVID 194 lb., after 175.

if you have Covid XBB, be patient, and takes some time. recovery is slow, but for me I don't believe it is as life threatening as before. it lingers, just be patient and it will subside. you can't fly with XBB, you will feel too fatigued and washed out. these viruses are global, so many people traveling on planes. it only takes a matter of days to transfer from one county to the next. it was big step when I was able to actually flex my legs after 10 days to feel some life coming back. as I read, Covid XBB latches on to the cell tightly and it takes some effort to get it off. I don't believe anyone fully understands Covid and it's effects. Covid: created in a Chinese military lab in Wuhan and not understood, backfired on them and the rest of the world. hang-in, it will pass, but seems to take forever.
