received some AE701 hose from Aircraft Spruce this week. AE701 has unlimited shelf life, but does have a finite in-service life, depending on the application. the mfg date on this hose is 1QT23, so relatively fresh. I probably only need 3 ft but purchased 4, since this is the first time for me to build this type of hose. it has a MIL spec cert, that's what I am looking for in a hose. no Van's mystery hose.
