I don't fly around the patch much anymore

During the initial phase of piloting my RV, I reveled in flying locally for pleasure and skill-building. As time progressed, my flights took on a more purposeful nature, usually entailing direct trips to particular destinations. The distance is generally no more than 200 miles, enabling a same-day return trip with my bicycle. The addition of a foldable bike has broadened the scope of my destinations, enriched my understanding of the local area, and opened up opportunities to discover diverse and quality cuisine. Combining flying with a full-day activity can provide great value and lead to a highly satisfying experience. While in flight, I no longer think much about the act of flying; instead, I focus on what I will do upon arrival.

Several trips are not reflected in this chart because I had turned off my tracking, such as the trip to Minnesota's Root River Trail to see the Northern Lights.

Have a defined purpose for each flight and not to just fly around the patch and wander about the sky.

There is unnecessary risk if you are simply wandering about the sky. Put the plane on a straight path and going somewhere. It looks much better to the authorities if you were on a mission, if you do have problem.
