The site has been getting bombarded with different bots, crawlers and new AI bots causing it to restart a log. I recently started using www.claude.ai (ChatGPT for programmers) for work and fed it the issues and logs I was seeing. In no time, it gave me pages of recommendations. As I implemented its recommendations, I would feed it logs and it would keep refining. If you haven't embraced any sort of AI (ChatGPT, Claude, etc) you are way behind. In my opinion it is a greater technical evolution than the invention of the internet/world wide web.

I used to spend hours analyzing logs and coming up with stopgaps to keep the site happy. The issue is, I am not an Apache webserver expert (or really an expert at anything!), so I was always hacking myself through getting things working. I just fed AI the log file, and it came up with all sort of great idea. Like everything else, you have to pull a Ronald Reagan and "Trust but Verify" with anything AI tells you - it can get into a hallucination state and tell you very believable advice! Glad my $4/mo VPS is happy with me again, it would break the RivetBangers budget to jump to the premium $5/mo plan!

Man, this is great. Keeping the forum costs low, fast access and great photo capabilities!

I'm thinking about new lyrics for an AI song and deciding on a music mixer that will feed into AI. Heck, I generated my own Church Sermon on AI this morning. Put the morals you want to highlight and the genre and let AI create. What if your pastor starts walking like a robot?
