The panel has power.
This photo was taken when I wore glasses for the past 40 years, but I no longer need them and don't miss them.
Now I remember, building an airplane is a lot of work!

First flight, I remember developing tunnel vision for about five seconds after takeoff, then it cleared. I looked it up later and have never experienced this phenomenon since.
Tunnel vision manifests in two primary ways: as a cognitive narrowing of focus during high-stress situations, or as a physical loss of peripheral vision caused by rapid acceleration (G-forces). Both forms limit your situational awareness and can significantly impair performance or safety.

Fishing in Northern Michigan in March with my youngest daughter – it was cold but we had a lot of fun! The Mooney behind had water in the tanks and the water was frozen so he wasn't going anywhere.

Winglet testing... put the aircraft on rails, but easy to put an eye out.

On the way to Gillespie Field in San Diego.. a couple times. You meet nice people on the way. On the way back, rounding the familiar El Capitan 90 miles east of El Paso.
