I was doing some surfing and ended up calling American Propeller Services in Redding, CA. He says they can't beat Van's pricing on Hartzell Blended Airfoils, but do sell this really cool governor that gives Van's MT unit a run for the money!

The MT needs to be shipped back to Germany for any service that needs to be done. I also like the idea of having a US built unit.
He says they trade them for just under $1,400 and they work well.
I am gonna give it due diligence.
Anyone with any experience like to chime in?
