Just discovered a worn baffle on cylinder #4. It passed previous condition inspection and now couple hundred hours later I have this. How would you fix it? To replace the whole baffle is a PITA the oil cooler sits on it. Would be a patch a good idea in this highly vibratory corner?
Impressive "badge of honor"! I don't see why you couldn't replace the worn piece with some 6061-T6. I would just make a lap-joint and use countersunk 3/32" rivets. You might want to double-check with A&P Mitch for a second much more qualified opinion.
