engine dehydrator

Post by A2022 »

I think I'm going on year 4 with this same desiccant. closed loop system. I see from the photo I have had a hose come loose. it's good to inspect that stuff at the beginning of the season. I'll put a clamp on that one. I normally use this dehydrator in the late Fall thru Spring. I don't need a dehydrator in the Summer.

it looks like my engine is on life support. I suppose I should lower the oil door to keep the heat in for sump pre-heater.

added clamps to the hoses. these barbs were not very big or good and needed clamps. some moisture in the return line after a quick flight and the sensor is beginning to read.
