RV9 - aircraft down - ASN Report

reported RV9 flip over down under.

During landing, the crew lost directional control of the aircraft which veered off the runway and came to rest inverted. The aircraft sustained substantial damage. The two occupants sustained minor injuries.

That is a shame. When I landed yesterday the x wind was a little squirrelly and I can see how loss of control can happen.

yeah, and a tail wheel is more sensitive to winds. I have found that my landings are straighter if I look further down field. like driving a car, don't stare at the line beside you, look further out and you will be straighter.
