Ready-Set-Go!!!

Post by Ron »

Well the time has come to begin construction 7a-qb. The empenage kit has arrived and the fuse & wings are due april. Since I have limited time, I will be building the tail in one week! Signed up for the alexander tail program. Hopefully this will eliminate some of the mistakes and new parts ordered through the learning curve. Can't wait to get started, going down this sunday.
Has any of our membership gone through this course, and if so what did you think?

I have not. The idea of building the tail in a week is interesting. Make sure you take pictures, document, and then report to us ;)

Emp building program

One of the RV-7 links on Vans page contains a pretty good review of that builders experience with that program. If I recall correctly, he was glad he did it.

Let me see if I can find the correct link to it.
