Sorry...forgot to say (or did I?) that they are the Becker comm and xponder at the far right. They won't be there...they are there because I don't have a sub-panel to tape them to.

Oh!

Okay...

I see!

It's like pin the instrument on the panel!

Will you be offering kits for parties too? Blindfolds included?

Fun for all ages!

Chad,

Whats left in your panel if you have an electrical failure? Just the 295? I know the ADI has a battery backup option, but not sure if the ADI Pilots do.

Other than that, I dig your panel. You got the GPS right in front of you and you're definitely gonna spend a heck of a lot less than I will!

I'm not sure on a battery backup for the ADI Pilot either, but I'll have the 295 and the Lift Reserve gauge. I am planning on two batteries with an E-buss as well...especially if I use an O-320 engine. The two batteries up front will help with CG.

The main reason for a simple panel is because I intend to do ZERO IFR flying with this airplane. I get PLENTY of that at work (like today, for instance...), and if I HAVE to go, I'll rent something capable, or take the airlines...

My 7 is intended to be a fair weather, fun, leisure flyer that my wife and I can make our way around in good VFR weather. :)

Chad,
Makes perfect sense to me. Its great to start seeing all these panels with no steam in them! (Wait, does the LRI count as steam? Me thinks it does!).
