wingtip work

Post by hydroguy2 »

What to do when you have time and no engine yet..... little stuff, like wing tips.

fit the tips and made the cutouts a few days ago. I cleco'd it in place for now, but am going the hinge route(ala bullojm1) once my next Spruce order arrives

Then I assembled my CreativeAir nav/landing light combo. I like the nav lights, except the exposed circuit board is tacky, SO I prototyped an aluminum reflector plate. Looks better, but may try a plexi-mirror.

Going to NWEAA fly-in next week to talk engines :)

Nice mod Brian. I was thinking of doing the same thing. I like my LED nav lights too, but not the look of the circuit board.

Nice work Brian!

I am with Antony on the circuit board LED Nav lights. I really hope some vendor comes out with a complete LED strobe + NAV for the wingtips. Hopefully some of y'all going to OSH this year will keep an eye out for me!
