Sounds like you are going about it the right way for first flight too, by taking your time to cross all the t's and dot the i's before hopping in for the ride you will remember a long long time .
Glad to hear you are going to get ready for that first flight the way you said, take your time and be ready under the conditions you set, it will be oh so rewarding. Be ready for sore facial muscles from all the grinning, if it hasn't started already
It is a real thrill to have that pink sheet of paper. Don't rush the first flight be ready and prepared. I waited almost six months for the right test pilot and good weather. Minnesota winter weather is not the time to be test flying an airplane. The runway at 8Y6 where I currently keep my airplane is always terrible this time of year. Right now all the taxiways are pure mud. Be safe and fly when you and the airplane are readly.
My airplane has 81 hours on it and the first flight was delayed from 12/18/08 to 5/9/09. I am getting wheel pants and gear leg fairings and wing tirps ready for painting. Then the runway will be dry and we will get another 80 hours on it. N784TB Bob
YUP! Looks about right. I'm thinking there is going to be some air under those tires

3/20/10 Weater forecast looks ideal if both you and the airplane are ready?? You want everything to right when you go. Good Luck and don't rush anything!
Enjoy the day. The date will become one of the ones that are never forgotten and that will always bring a smile to your face when ever you think about the date. Mine was June 24, 2009, enjoy yours.
