I was working on my tank this weekend and realized that my t-410 reinforcement plates are drilled with varying clearances to the edge of the rib. Since these are reinforcing plates my question is how snug do they need to be to end of the tip of the rib and skin? Do I order new ones and remake them or just rivet them in place and move on? Using pro seal to seal up all the gaps. I tried to post photos from my ipad but had some trouble. Thanks.

Hey Jerry,
I wouldn't be too concerned with the T-410 not being perfectly snug with the tank skin. the T-410 serves two purposes. One is to make the front attachment bracket be held more securely to the inboard tank rib. The other is to block fuel from coming out of the tooling hole this bracket covers up.

As you can see, it isn't perfectly flush with where the tank skin would be.
