I was at 4500ft and I had the airplane oriented with the right wing on the VOR @ 50 miles and it worked fine. I will have to let you know about further than that.

This thing really seems to work as advertised as long as you follow the directions about grounding it and where to run wires etc.

The flight was a little bumpy and we had 15 knot 90deg cross winds and 50+ knot winds aloft.
