CRACKED F601n LT and RT firewall stiffeners RV-7

Check your center firewall stiffeners for cracks at the joggle bottom side, I found cracks in both left and right sides as seen in the attached photo. They were identified just before final riveting, also these parts have been alodined and primed as well before noticing the cracks.
This fuselage kit was purchased late 2005.

Kev, that was a really good catch!

I doubt that I would have looked so closely for it. I guess that is why you are the professional!

Everyone should look for this on their projects.
