quick build question
quick build question
On the quick build fuselage at bulkhead 902 I have a strut which runs accross the top from left to right. I am thinking it is a shipping thing to keep the forward cabin from flexing as i don't see it in the plans. It also conflicts with the forward cabin structure. Does this sound right? Any quick builders know?? Thanks Gary
Gary,
I don't know about the 7/9 QB fuselage for sure, but I know the QB 8 has one. I am 99.999999% sure that is used just for shipping, as there is no strut between the 902's. Take it out and move on!

What? Do you think we have other, more important things to do? Nah, we just sit around here, and wait for the next post!gsimatos wrote:Jeeeeez you guys are crazy fast. And that solves that question. I wanna sink my teeth into the panel/ forward fuselage now nothing stopping me except the 10 grand I am gonna need for the panel. Anyway again you guys are really on the ball. Cheers Gary

I hear ya on the panel! I will have ten grand in my panel as well...and that doesn't buy all that much!

Yanked out the shipping strut and forward fuselage structure now in place. Tons of avionic/instrument space at this point and easy to get at with the tip up canopy lay out. Maybe more than 10 grand to fill up all that space. Thanks again. Like the Jabily........engine thing also, Cheers Gary
