F-6111-L&R Stiffeners

Post by Sully »

Can anyone offer any good tips on fitting the stiffeners to the upper forward aft skin from the aft baggage bulkhead down to the longeron for a slider? I can't seem to get any kind of fit that seems acceptable and the drawing and plans on this are pretty worthless.
Thanks

Hey Sully,

I don't have a slider, but my friend Rob does (he's on here, and may chime in...), and I remember reading about his dealings with this part for the slider. See what he had to say about it here...

May help a bit.

Sully,

Let me know if you have questions on these -- I remember this part being WAY more difficult than it should have been. I ended up with what I think it an acceptable end result, but you can be the judge of that.
