I'm using an IO-360-M1B on my seven with a single heater can off the number 1 cylinder (forward right cylinder) as supplied by Vans. Not enough heat temperature and flow.
Inside the can, the exhaust is wrapped with 15' copper #8 gauge wire in hopes of capturing more radiant heat. Doesn't work so well, seems to reduce the flow.
Thinking about adding a second Can in series from another cylinder.
Any other ideas?

I used "Header Wrap" from the auto parts store.
Get some and wrap it around your heat exchanger ONLY... not your pipes.
It worked great for me. No need to install anything else.
Data point: I have a 4 pipe Vetterman system and the heater box encloses 2 pipes, not one.
Never the less, It should still work for you.
