Here's a pictue of my rudder pedal assembly temporarily installed for a fit check. Notice the "reservoir dogs" on the remote reservoirs. They have a ball check valve that closes the breather hole up when inverted
And here's a top view of them.

Pretty slick Dave. How do they work? It looks like the nylon bearing blocks are fixed to the floor. No?

Spike, the Nylon blocks are sliding guides that are bolted to the shaft, but the bottom slides back and forth along the floor.

Looks very similar to the pedal adjustments on our Diamonds. WS, is this standard for the -8, or a custom deal? I like it!

The "Standard" rudder pedal assembly is a "ground adjustable" design.
I think it's only adjustable to 3 different positions.
Here's a link to a picture of the ground adjustable setup, where by you have to unbolt and move the assembly and cable attachments.

Mine is adjustable to 6 positions in 1" increments, and no cable dis-assembly is required, you simply pull the pin and slide.
