My cellar gave birth today...

Post by Wicked Stick »

Today, with the help of several local RV Nurses, my cellar finally gave birth to a beautiful RV-8 fuselage. Labor was short, about an hour, and she's now resting comfortably in my garage where she'll have plenty of room to grow wings and tailfeathers, etc.

As you can see it was a pretty narrow canal, but she made it out fine using her first "knife edge" tecnique.

Many thanks to Capt'n John, PapaKeith, & Thermos for their help.

Woo Hoo! Coming out into the light of day. Nice looking garage to work in too.

Good to get a little of the knife edge practice in first thing also.

You can be a proud papa! I'm sure the blue color will go away after a few weeks.
