Hi all
Is there an easy way of making the Forward Wing & Tank Brackets? They seem to be rather labour intensive and I don't see how I can get 4 brackets from the one piece of metal supplied!
Any suggestions are gratefully received!!
Cheers
Rob

I found them to be labor intensive as well. Though what I did find was that after the first one I didn't try soo hard to get the curvature profile perfectly correct. In the ballpark was good enough for me.
A bandsaw really helps out if you have one.

There should be enough material.
The wing kit comes with enough for two (maybe 3) and I seem to remember the fuselage kit came with enough to do the two for the fuse to tank brackets.
I use a hand hack saw to cut all of mine and finish shaped them with a band sander and polish wheel.
The only gotchas are the shape Van's specs for the fuse brackets.
I left more material on mine when I first cut them, and then shaped them to final size when the wings were mounted.
