Compass

Post by RobDob »

Hi all

I am rapidly running out of space in my '8 panel and was wondering if anyone has mouted a compass to the windscreen? I realise this will reduce forward vision slightly but I'm just trying to figure out a solution. The sort of compass I was thinking of is like this;

Any suggestions/guidance gratefully received!!

Cheers

I mounted one to the glareshield, it didn't seem to restrict the view much.

Thanks, glad someone has done that! If possible, could you post a photo of it please? Many thanks :)

I will try to find one. I actually removed it after the few months. I had it in place for inspection because the DAR wasn't comfortable with the EFIS or GPS being the only compasses.

I see; don't worry if not. I wonder if one might mount on the coaming rather than windscreen.
