One year, one month, one week and one day...

after I started the tail kit, I'm at another big milestone.

Rolled the canoe tonight and finished the riveting on the side skins.

No more clecos!

Now when do I pull the trigger on the finish kit? I guess I need to figure out a few things like engine and prop before I can do that.

Lookin great! Like they said, start thinking about that finish kit!!!

Do everything you can think of then more while that fuse is wide open. It really helps!

Some things to do sooner rather than later:

AP Brackets/servos/pushrods?
Firewall mounted items?
Wires to the tail?
Strobe PS?
ELT?
Antennas?
Trim cable?
Crotch Strap Kit?
Flap position sensor and wiring?
Elevator pushrod?
Crotch Strap Kit?
Aux fuel pump?
Vent lines?
Fuel lines?
Fit & rivet those fairings that go under the HS before mounting the emp on for good?
Static system?
Rudder cables?
Put the control stick weldment in sooner rather than later..mod the ribs so you can get the whole thing out and in.

I am sure there are a few that I missed...I put off a few things that caused me much pain and agony in weird positions...

Lots of good ideas, Brian.

I put the crotch strap brackets in when I was doing the center section.
Static ports went on last night and am waiting for the proseal to set before I put any tubing on.
Already did the mod for the seat ribs to get the control sticks in and out easily.
Brackets for the A/P are in.
Fitted the rear panels in the baggage compartment. Just need to get the nutplates figured out and the wear blocks for the seat belt cables.
I still have the steps to install.
I have a huge pile of stuff to prep for primer and paint. Seat backs, floor pans, gussets, aft deck, etc.

Looks like I should really start planning out the wiring runs before too long.
