F-303E - What drawing is it on?

Post by AirWolf »

I have a piece of AS3-063x4.5x10 that my finish kit inventory says is for F-303E. I looked through the drawings and I was not able to find where F-303E is located.

Anybody know which drawing F-303E is on...and if not, where it goes on the plane?

Thanks!

Interesting. I cant seem to find it listed in the master parts index either. I wonder if the E designation on it has something to do with "elevator". Maybe near the rear of the fuse?

I talked to Gus at Van's and he said that the F-303E part designation is not applicable for the 7 or 9, as this sheet of .063 was first for the RV-3 Part F-303E. Gus said that this sheet of .063 comes with both the 7 and 9 kit, and it is in both the tip-up and the slider kits.

He was not able to off hand know where this sheet was used, so I will look back in the finishing kit drawings and see if I can't find where it might be used.
