April icing - elevator horns

Post by A2022 »

April can be a good time for icing. elevator horns are susceptible. these horns have increased gap in the middle to prevent wedge binding. the distance between the horn and the fairing increases in the middle to prevent ice wedge binding. if you get into icing with an RV there is just one rule, get out of it.
