Injected O-320

I recently purchased a -4 with an IO-320. the engine runs like a top in cruise but simply hates to be throttled back. After a short shut down and taxi out the engine sounds terrible. As soon as I pour on the coals it goes beautifully. I believe the fuel lines are heating up w/o normal airlfow. Anybody ever seen the same problem and a solution???

Hmm, it sounds as if its running rich at low RPM's. Well, that would at least be my guess if it were a non IO model. Hopefully someone will have an idea.
