IO360 Sump

Post by RobDob »

Morning all

I'm after some help trying to source an LW13864 sump to convert my IO360-C1C6 to forward facing induction. I can't find one (other than new) in the UK.

I have e-mailed Preferred Airparts and Texas Air Salvage, but can anyone help with any other contacts? A new sump is $6K so I really want to find a second-hand unit!!

This is now holding up my build! I'm stuck!!!

Please help!!! :o

Many thanks for any help you fine people can offer.

Cheers

Rob

Rob,

What about the Superior brand sump. As I recall it is experimental only and about $1,600.

Sorry to resurrect this thread....but.....

I decided to work around my sump issue and carried on with the build. I'm now back with this issue having not found a replacement 2nd hand sump!

Has anyone machined a sump to change from rearward to forward facing induction? If so, do you have any details/photos of it? This would be the cheapest option for me as there is a local company that could do it, but I'd be reassured if someone has done it before to their own engine!

I'll restart my search for a 2nd hand sump in the meantime......any leads gratefully received! (Again!)

Cheers all
