An Oshkosh adventure pictorial

Post by prestwich »

Not an RVer, but nevertheless a pretty cool photoset of an aerial pilgrimage from California to the holy mecca.

Wow, that was a great set of pix. Really can't wait to fly our RV out there. It was cool seeing all your pics of devil's tower/Rushmore/Scottsbluff, that's my airspace. I work airplanes into Rapid City and Scottsbluff all day.

Great Pics!!!

Great pictures, and sounds like it was a great trip.

Looking forward to flying to those places when my 8's done and I can get more than a week off from work ;)

Like others I am anxious ot be able to see some of the above areas from the air in my RV also. The badlands, Rushmore, and Devil's Tower all are right on the way to my brothers palce in Wyoming. Sure will be nice to be able to fly there instead of the 14 hours drive.

I've looked at that very route many times to get to Oshkosh, just have not gotten the kitchen pass yet. I scoot over Tahoe to Minden, NV for lunch often, I've just always turned around and flew back. One year I'll get to take my 6 all the way.

A great job of documenting your route. Beautiful pictures and wonderful dialog, thanks. You have allowed a few of us the oppertunity to fly along with you across this great Country.

Thanks,

Just to clarify here, that wasn't my trip, though I wish it had been. A friend sent me that link and I thought it was pretty cool so wanted to share it with my fellow RVers.

But, it's a good motivator for me to get back to work! This dang rudder doesn't seem to want to build itself.
