local airport traffic is increasing

January flying averages about 30 daily arrivals and departures. then is goes to 60 by April, and then to 90 by June. that is another reason I like Winter flying. one day this Winter, when it was -20C, I was the only light aircraft airborne for 50 miles.

note: OSU airport reached 350 one day last June. that is getting close to CVG numbers.

down low at cool temps the aircraft performance is great. I wish Winter would come stay longer. 5500 fpm climb with a light pull. you just can't beat cool weather for total performance.
