Ahh...that makes more sense now...
I missed a GREAT shot yesterday! On our way in to Ames, IA, we were being vectored for the ILS RWY 1, and we popped out of a layer at 3,000 feet, and there was another layer at about 700 feet. There are three
2500ft towers just south of the IAF, and they were sticking up out of that low cloud layer. We made a nice arcing right turn right over the top of them, and the view I had out the co-pilot's side was AWESOME!! As soon as it was too late to think about it, I thought of my camera.
Oh well, I hope describing it gave a decent mental picture. I'll try to remember to take some pics on the next trips. I'll get some of the airplane too...it's a King Air 200.
