Just got back from the Black Otter... WOW! First of all it was great meeting everyone (well everyone I was able to meet) My friends from my EAA chapter were so impressed at how friendly and warm everone was. Second, The Block Otter, I can't believe the meat they served us. Delicious, and HUGE! It was so great to finally meet at least a few of you. I'm going to try to meet up with some more folks tomorrow.

Also, we found out that Doug Reeves met John and Patti. Check out the Tue 0940 entry on VAF: http://www.vansairforce.net/

It was great to see people tonight. The food was fantastic as well as the conversation. The group is definately growing and interestingly enough, is most definately getting noticed in the experimental community. Thats a testament to you all. Thanx.

Scott,

Glad you enjoyed the Otter  It was great to meet you and to see everyone there 8)

I just got home myself - had some yellow Ducati try to race me on the way back. Fortunately, I think his speedo was out of cal and he shut down too early :o

Nothing worse than a bike with a speedo out of cal -- unless it's a Cherokee with a speedo out of cal.

It was good to see those again that I met last year and great to meet the new people also. The Black Otter is an excellent choice. Thanks for lining it up Will! Hope everyone has a great day!

It was indeed great to meet everyone. Spike and Patti, Chad, Brad, Will, Jim, Ian, Ian's date  and the rest of you great builders. My brother and I definitely felt like one of the pack. I enjoyed swapping stories with all of you. Looking forward to peppering you with many questions in the years to come, and seeing you again at future get togethers!

What a great week. I didn't get to meet as many as you as I had hoped, but it was nice to put faces to names and get to know some Rivetbangers. Can't wait for next year.
The only thing wrong with OSH this year was I NEED ANOTHER WEEK! More airplane stuff! :)

T.

p.s. Jim P - what about this Faith Hill (or was it Shania Twain - can't remember, not a big country fan) look alike? Maybe she can come along next year! :)

It was great seeing old friends and making new ones.

As promised in another thread, here are the pics I took at the Black Otter and a few from the big show.

Cool Pics, Brad!

It is amazing how different each individual's trip can be! You got some good pics of the performing aircraft! In all my visits, I have never made it to the museum. Looks like I need to short list that place!

I hope you all don't mind that I took some liberties with the captions.

Last year I took tons of photos of everything RV. This year, not so much. Can't explain it, but I didn't feel compelled to this year.
