I said the same thing 18 years ago. My sister had a baby girl named Ashley. She now is a straight "A" student and enrolled in her first year in college.
I am sure you will be as proud of your niece as I am of mine!
She will bring great joy to your life, I am sure!
Best!

It's all over but the flying! 800+ hours in only 3 years!
Chad, that should be fun for you. Hope she is close enough that you can spoil her some. Parents always like it when you give their kids lots of candy and noisy toys.

Thanks guys! We just got back from visiting again. They had her here in town (they live about 30nm south), so we're able to visit several times in the next few days. And they are plenty close to spoil!
It's hard to hold back the tears, and really, there's no reason not too! Great day!
Great feeling isn't Chad. My oldest nephew just finished his 3rd term at the University of Waterloo in engineering, just like his uncle, his dad went there too, but in Math (funny that we both ended up working with computers though).
Hope this gets your mind off the lack of rv parts Chad, it must have been tough this last little while with only empty parts boxes. Hang in there, you will have parts soon I'm sure.
Congrats, Chad. But keep the Pill in Brit's diet until your RV is finished! I had to race my gravid wife with the firstborn when getting my pilot license - a bit of change occurs afterward.
For a gift to your sister, use your skills to fabricate an aluminum bassinet, perhaps in the form of half the aft fuselage with a couple rotisserie stands on either end? Enjoy!
