Christmas came early for me... Here is the loot I got, man am I ever blessed by God!

Two super nice vents from Stein:

A new ratcheting crimper frame from Stein:

Along with a good set of insulated terminal dies and a good universal set of hex dies for coax all from Stein:

An open barrel pin crimp tool from Stein:

Insertion/extraction tools from Stein:

Sweet Brian!! Hey, if you figure out how to install that Legend plate, let me know. I have it, but haven't figured out the best way to install it...

I will either just glue it down with a couple spots of pro-seal or will drill and tap the edges of it for a couple 4-40 screws from the backside....

I don't mean to keep this thread focused on the cover, but the bolts that hold the valve are in the way to get it to mount flush...I have the cover, and will use it, but I haven't figured out how to mount it flush yet...

Actually mine was backordered so I don't actually have it to look at but I was under the impression that there was a relief cut on the backside so that this thing would sit over the bolts that hold the valve in place????

Is this not the case?

If yours is, I'm gonna have to ask Van's about mine...

I think I'm getting several of those electrical/avionics tools on Thursday as well...

Here's a pic of Carl's sitting on top of the valve plate...

I suppose one could locate the bolts on the bottom of the plate, and carefully drill relief's for them...

Brian, Nice bunch of goodies for your christmas stocking. Looks like a bunch of the stuff I put on my list, except my list never got sent to santa. Oh well maybe the easter bunny will be good to me.

For your fuel selector plate install. you could locate the holes, by back drilling and then countersinking the plate from the face and installing 2 counter sunk allenhead screws. OR a relief cut on that plate shouldn't take more than 5 minutes on the lathe.

Nice score Brian! I could really use all of those wiring crimpers / pin extractors. If they go missing by xmas morning.....it wasn't me!

I don't think I have any RV related xmas gifts coming my way. I have pretty much everything but some misc wiring and the ACK 406Mhz ELT. Neither of which make for very exciting gifts. I guess I will just have to be happy with the .45 ACP hand cannon I got!

I am just used to seeing jam nuts on fittings like that. fuel oil or hydraulic plumbing?

Hmm...they are fuel line fittings, sealed with Tight Seal. They are the same fittings used on all FWF stuff, and no jam nuts are used there either...
