I posted the following link on a well known forum for RV's with the subject line of "Falcon Flight.....the early days." A total, obvious tongue in cheek joke.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_lXqMmevog

Apparently I bent some wound up too tight moderator's nose out of joint, and it was deleted. Far be it for me to poke a little fun at the guys who do formation. I guess you just don't go there. Sheesh! :?

Anyway, I thought you folks might get a laugh out of it.....Hopefully!

I don't know which is funnier; the clip or the fact that it urinated them off!

THAT WAS AWESOME JEFF!!!!

I bet I can guess who moderated that right on out the door in ONE GUESS!!

You don't mess with those guys...there are a couple of them that are RB members that I'd hang with, but most of them...well, I'll stop there.

I post there because I do have a lot of friends there, and Doug is one of them...there's only a handful of people that cause issues there.

No reason not to post there...there's a wealth of information over there, it's just a very different atmosphere than here.

I remember the time some thread got blocked that you started because it was not specifically RV...I think it was a Bearcat or something. Then you see pages of threads about the space shuttle.

Last week I saw zings against Democrats... support for the teabaggers etc., which -- last time I checked -- has nothing to do with building an RV. That got through. Stuff about flying? No.

I wish more moderators would consider the word -- moderation -- more often. There's a reason its not referred to as "sh**IDontPersonallyLike"

I just watched the video in question, and I thought it was pretty funny. Since I fly with Falcon Flight, and we have a practice this weekend, I'll find out what our guys think.

You are one of the "couple" on RB that I was referring to when I said this Pat...

Glad (and relieved) you enjoyed the video Pat. I too thought it was a hoot, and thought all the guys, not just Falcon Flight, that do formation flying would enjoy it as well.

I have the highest admiration for those who do formation flying safely, and meant no disrespect in posting this video. I am trying for the life of me to figure out how this would have offended someone. I thought I had posted it in a manner that would make it obvious that it was intended for good humored fun.

I can't help but think I caught a moderator on a bad day......

Maybe the person who got offended was a fireman with a stick up his tailcone.
