With the help of Noah, Scott, and John S. the engine was hung.

Yesterday, my son Jeff helped me hang the Prop !

I'm hoping to bore many holes in the sky with this baby. (I bought it about a year before I got laid off, otherwise it may have been a WW or Hartzel or fix pitch

)

You may want to rotate the propeller 90 Degrees so that when the engine stops it is easy to prop if need be. The Way you have it if you make a dead stick landing you should be able avoid a prop strike. However it would be very dangerous to hand prop should that be come necessary. I had to rotate my prop to keep it a ground strike becaused it was stopping straight up and down. My test pilot requested that I make that change and his reasoning was very solid!

I need to keep it clocked in it's current position so I can open and close the garage door. Don't want a prop strike before it's flying.

Seriously though, on a constanst speed prop, it can ONLY be mounted in a specific position, unless I want to have the hub machined or remove and change the threaded plugs on the crankshaft.

I don't plan to hand start this prop unless extreme situations warrant it.
I'm happy with it's current position for now. Unless I encounter any unusual vibrations, then I may consider clocking it differently.
