Bob I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head. I wish we did have more as its such a popular model. If anyone knows of 10 builders I would appreciate them passing the word along.
Additionally if you can think of something to do to attract them I would love to hear about it.

Bob,
I am glad you are here.
While I am pretending to build an 8A, I am very interested in your project as well. I think a lot of us junkies would love to see more posts of your progress as well as other 10 builders. I spend a lot of time looking at projects that are not 8s. There are a lot of ideas to be found outside ones own model designation.
I think, the more that is posted about each model, the more people come to share. I think you just need to plant the seeds. So with that said...feel free to post more so we can all marvel at your progress and dream about the next one we might build, then we would join you!
All the best.

New RV-10'r
Bob! You are not the only RV-10 guy on Rivetbangers anymore.. I'm about to start on my RV-10 project here soon, and am looking forward to it. I am already on the VAF site, Matronics, and now this one too. Any more I should know about?

You got them covered. The RV-10 crowd seems to gravitate towards Matronics for some reason.ppilotmike wrote: I am already on the VAF site, Matronics, and now this one too. Any more I should know about?

Thanks for the welcome Spike and Bob!
I can't understand why RV-10 builders would be more or less attracted to the Matronics site. I feel like that site is not very user friendly. Of course I've been on the VAF site for a while, so I'm used to that/this type of format. I'm currently remodeling my master bathroom for my wife. This represents the last "big" project I must complete before I can begin getting my 3-car garage insulated and ready for the start of the 10 project. However, I have already laid out an estimated budget, anticipated schedule and cost timeline for my build on a home-made excel spreadsheet. I have started channeling money into a special account, got installed and ready with KitLog Pro to track/post my progress, and I have been lurking on the websites to find good deals on tools. My wife's getting on board too and has bought me a practice kit and several books I requested. I hope to start this summer, but I just need to finish that darned bathroom!

All I can say is that there some history that goes back to the days when VAF was still a Yahoo list. I wasn't around then, so I can't really comment.
Matronics has two user interfaces. One is an email list and the other is the traditional forum interface.
Regardless of what you think about Rivetbangers, VAF, or Matronics, if you need a quick RV-10 answer you'll get a better response off the Matronics list. Like I previously mentioned, there are more of the RV-10 community that primarily only participates there. I suspect that may because of the older email interface is more real time and people read those at work.
I read all three......

Matronics
Good to know. I use the forum format because I like to choose when to look and when not to look at posts. I started to get emails from a Colorado RV Yahoo group, but it's hard to sift through it all sometimes. I guess I don't check my email as often. With the forums, I can see what threads have new posts (threads that interest me) and follow them to see that new post. I guess in the end, it's all preference. I'm just glad SOMETHING's out there. Hey we have it so good, we even have CHOICES as to where we look for information on RVs! I love it.

I am here Bob...
working on the fuel tanks. Enjoying the mek and tank sealant. I don't have much time to look at another forum. They can really take alot of your build time. I try to check in once a day no matter what but if I have a question sometimes spend more time searching. Lots of great info on the net once sifted through. Take care and happy building.
