well, I remember when this guy was assembling the plane and the doing the painting. I liked the paint scheme. I don't believe this was Lycoming powered, but maybe UL, not saying that was the cause. It is much more difficult and expensive to fly in Europe, compared to the US. I hope they both recover well.

A Van's RV-7 crashed during an emergency landing behind a farm near Ederveen. Both occupants were injured and taken to hospital and the aircraft received substantial damage.
