Springfield and John Bryan State Park Mountain Bike Trails...
Everywhere I looked today seemed to be bursting with beauty. It was probably because this was possibly the nicest weather day of the year so far—if not, it was very close. I spent most of the day on the mountain bike trails experimenting with tire pressure. Lower tire pressure works better on the trails, obviously, but figuring out how low you can go is key. For optimal ease of riding and traction, you want to go as low as possible without rim contact, which also depends on the tire. I decided to upgrade one of my Libertés to knobby tires, and I think I can get Holy Rollers installed since the Zizzo has space for larger tires. I think 2.2-inch-wide tires should work fine. After dinner, I clocked another 20 miles to burn off the soda and candy bar. It was a full and very pleasant day, and I felt like I got my money's worth of exercise for both me, the bike and the aircraft.
After 50 hours, the oil still looks fine. Planning to go to 100 hours before changing it. Same as last time.
Music for the trails:
Everybody Needs Somebody to Love
The Blues Brothers - Topic

Foo Fighters - Learn to Fly

These tires should be good for both the mountain bike trails and in the snow this winter. Holy Rollers, but they weigh 700g! But before you unload the bike, cue the music.
