W423 joint plate

Post by aparchment »

Guys:

The instructions aren't clear on whether or not you have to fabricate W423, the leading edge joint plate. I am guessing that you have to since I don't see it labeled as a part on either the packing list or in the stuff that I have left.

I believe they are in the bundle of strips that came with the kit. I didn't make mine...

Yah, what he said.

It is in with all the loose, sliced sheet stuff.

Tip: Thermos' strips were SHORT! They are marked as being 36" as I recall, but his measured 1/2" shy! I measured mine (the joint plate) and it was longer than his. Van sent him 2 new ones immediately!

Check them first, before you do any fitting!

Found them! They weren't labeled with the part number, only the dimensions.

Thanks again guys.
